Ted Kennedy's True Legacy

by One Vike
Ted Kennedy was a singular figure in American history. Very few if any, over such a long period, have done more to harm America. But Obama is committed to trying.
“Socialism hasn’t worked in 6,000 years of recorded history because it didn’t have me to run it.” Ted Kennedy
And despite all his efforts to the contrary, it never worked in America either. Even with him as the Jackal of the Senate trying his best to implement it. May God have mercy on his soul...but we are better as a nation with him permanently out of that position of power and influence. The best epitaph for this leftist, socialists, corrupt old man would be for a conservative or at the least a moderate, to be elected to fill his seat by the people of Mass.
Now we have Barrack Hussein Obama and his ilk, who will surely try to use the death of Kennedy to push through the biggest socialization effort in American history, ObamaCare. We cannot let it happen. Stand firm, speak out, lean into their storm of words and ideologies...and push them back.
The worlds news organizations will not do it, the Democrats won't admit to it, even the Republicans will join in on the sycophantic praising of the man's life. So, here is a list of all the evil things Ted Kennedy has wrought upon this country and many around the world. Why am I doing this you may ask? Well, as the liberal pundit said when Richard Nixon died, ”death does not wipe out the evil he truly was.” This is just a small list of the many truly evil things Ted Kennedy had dine throughout his notorious life.
1.) He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it. He was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.
2.) While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. Oops! The man can't count to four! His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to England (a step up from bootlegging liquor into the US from Canada during prohibition), pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea , where a war was raging. No preferential treatment for him! (like he charged that President Bush received).
3.) Kennedy was assigned to Paris , never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged. Imagine a person of his "education" NEVER advancing past the rank of Private!
4.) While attending law school at the University of Virginia , he was cited for reckless driving four times, including once when he was clocked driving 90 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood with his headlights off after dark. Yet his Virginia driver's license was never revoked. Coincidentally, he passed the bar exam in 1959. Amazing!
5.) In 1964, he was seriously injured in a plane crash, and hospitalized for several months. Test results done by the hospital at the time he was admitted had shown he was legally intoxicated. The results of those tests remained a "state secret" until in the 1980's when the report was unsealed. Didn't hear about that from the unbiased media, did we?
6.) On July 19, 1969, Kennedy attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts .. At about 11:00 PM, he borrowed his chauffeur's keys to his Oldsmobile limousine, and offered to give a ride home to Mary Jo Kopechne, a campaign worker. Leaving the island via an unlit bridge with no guard rail, Kennedy steered the car off the bridge, flipped, and into Poucha Pond.
The inquest into Kopechne’s death took place in Edgartown in January 1970. At the request of Kennedy’s lawyers, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ordered that it be conducted in secret. The 763-page transcript of the inquest was released four months later. Judge James A. Boyle presided at the inquest. Among Judge Boyle’s conclusions in his inquest report were the following.

A.) The accident occurred “between 11:30 p.m. on July 18 and 1:00 a.m. on July 19″.
B.) “Kopechne and Kennedy did not intend to drive to the ferry slip and his turn onto Dike Road had been intentional”.
C.) “A speed of twenty miles per hour as Kennedy testified to operating the car as large as his Oldsmobile would be at least negligent and possibly reckless.”
D.) “For some reason not apparent from [Kennedy]’s testimony, he failed to exercise due care as he approached the bridge.”
E.) “There is probable cause to believe that Edward M. Kennedy operated his motor vehicle negligently … and that such operation appears to have contributed to the death of Mary Jo Kopechne.”
F.) Under Massachusetts law Boyle, having found “probable cause” that Kennedy had committed a crime, could have issued a warrant for his arrest, but he did not do so. District Attorney Dinis chose not to pursue Kennedy for manslaughter, despite Judge Boyle’s conclusions.
7.) Kennedy has held his Senate seat for more than forty years, but considering his longevity, his accomplishments seem scant. He authored or argued for legislation that ensured a variety of civil rights, increased the minimum wage in 1981, made access to health care easier for the indigent, and funded Meals on Wheels for fixed-income seniors and is widely held as the "standard-bearer for liberalism". In his very first Senate roll, he was the floor manager for the bill that turned U.S. immigration policy upside down and opened the floodgate for immigrants from third world countries.
8.) Since that time, he has been the prime instigator and author of every expansion of an increase in immigration, up to and including the latest attempt to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. Not to mention the pious grilling he gave the last two Supreme Court nominees, as if he was the standard bearer for the nation in matters of "what's right". What a pompous jerk he truly was!
9.) He is known around Washington as a public drunk.  The reality that was ted Kennedy's life, is that he was loud, boisterous, and very disrespectful towards women.  As I have said many times when he was still alive, a JERK is a better description for him than "Great American".  The joke that echoes through the halls of the Senate about Mr. Kennedy is, "A blond in every pond" is Ted's motto.
10.) In an Act that should have been prosecuted as treason! Ted Kennedy offered his help to the Soviets in a public relations effort to thwart the reelection of Ronald Reagan.

A KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan’s foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts. The letter, dated May 14, 1983, was sent from the head of the KGB to Yuri Andropov, who was then General Secretary of the Soviet Union’s Communist Party. In his letter, KGB head Viktor Chebrikov offered Andropov his interpretation of Kennedy’s offer. Former U.S. Sen. John Tunney (D-Calif.) had traveled to Moscow on behalf of Kennedy to seek out a partnership with Andropov and other Soviet officials, Kengor claims in his book. At one point after President Reagan left office, Tunney acknowledged that he had played the role of intermediary, not only for Kennedy but for other U.S. senators, Kengor said. Moreover, Tunney told the London Times that he had made 15 separate trips to Moscow.

11.) Led by Ted Kennedy, in 1974, the Democrat majority in Congress cut off all the funding, fuel and ammunition to the Army of the Republic of South Viet Nam. Until that time they were successfully defending themselves against the communist. This act quickly caused the Republic of Viet Nam to collapsed and be run over by the Viet Cong. As a direct result more than 20 million were condemned to slavery and more than 2.5 million were murdered. In the ensuing years even the Cambodian people would pay for this in what is now known as the killing fields. For his part in all this, Ted Kennedy would publicly brag about the part he played in bringing these horrors about. The mountains of skulls in Cambodia are a fitting memorial to Ted Kennedy's involvement.
12.) Ted Kennedy was adamant that the Immigration Act of 1965 would not result in major changes to the American population. The Act opened America up to large numbers of immigrants from third world countries. He said that American cities would not have large isolated immigrant communities. He said that we would not see enclaves of immigrants speaking other languages, and not assimilating. He said we would not see major changes in the predominantly European ethnic background of the population. He was wrong on every point.
13.) Lest I forget, Ted Kennedy helped to thwart Ronald Reagan's attempt to help defeat the communist insurgents in South America.
14.) Finally, while Ted was a staunch pro-life Catholic before Roe v. Wade became the law of the land, since 1972 he has been a champion for abortion rights. He has even consistently voted for pro-choice judges while voting against pro-life judges. By his consistent support for abortion in America and abroad, Ted Kennedy has the blood of over 100 million baby's on his hands. Here are just a few of his most recent votes on matters of life or death for the unborn.

A.) Voted NO on banning human cloning. (Feb 1998)
B.) Voted NO on banning partial birth abortions. (Oct 1999)
C.) Voted NO on maintaining ban on Military Base Abortions. (Jun 2000)

N.)Voted NO on prohibiting minors crossing state lines for abortion. (Mar 2008)
O.)Voted NO on defining unborn child as eligible for SCHIP. (Mar 2008)

My final statement on Ted would be that he has had plenty time to make amends with God and ask for forgiveness before he died. It is truly my wish that he did and that for eternity he will be in the presence of the Lord. My point for writing this article was that I do not want us to get so caught up in what the MSM programs and funeral specials wish for us to remember him by, that we forget what Ted's true legacy is. We all must live with the consequences of having Ted spend over 40 years in Congress making laws that he himself never intended to live or die by.
